Austin Sego
AVL & Restoring Hope Assistant
After living within the same two-block radius in central Illinois for the first 25 years of his life, Austin moved to Minneapolis in fall 2018. With intentions of seeking out a biblically sound, community-oriented church upon arrival to the Twin Cities, he had several friends at Hope and decided to give it a try. He quickly got plugged into a small group, started volunteering on the production team, and eventually playing drums on the worship team. He joined Hope staff as the AVL Assistant in Winter 2021, joined LDI as an intern in Fall 2021, and joined the Restoring Hope team in Spring 2022. Austin and his wife, Cara, live in Bryn Mawr, Minneapolis and love having people over for dinner, game nights, and fancy coffee.
Austin enjoys hiking with Cara, bonfires, baking desserts, specialty coffee, and a quality cigar with good company.
