Gospel Expression Through Song
In Psalm 33, the psalmist implores Israel, “Sing to [the LORD] a new song; play skillfully and shout for joy.” Here at Hope Community church, the role of the worship team is to follow the model of God’s creative, artistic design by leading the congregation through song each week. We believe in the importance of taking time to look at the words we sing together and in turn choosing music that aligns with the theology here at Hope: turning our attention vertically towards Jesus & the beauty of the Gospel.
Worship Team
Our goal as a worship team is to lead our church through song. Whether that is playing a lead line on guitar, singing harmonies, or playing keys, we choose to steward the gifts that God has given us to point others back to Jesus!

Hope Hymns
Produced in three volumes in 2012, 2014, and 2017, Hope Hymns was a creative project that brought gospel-focused, theologically-rich, traditional hymn lyrics to life with new music or arrangements. It was recorded by Hope worship team members (with help from a few friends).
