I am from Spamtown, USA (otherwise known as Austin, MN) and currently live in Minneapolis. I have been going to HCC for a year in May. I love Jesus because He loves me in spite of what I am, and continues to refine me into the woman of God that HE wants me to be. I love people, especially young people and have a blast hanging out with the youth of HCC because they keep me on my toes physically and spiritually. I graduated from Northwestern College in 2006 and I currently work in a group home. Something kind of weird about me is that I love S. A. hotdogs. Possibly more than anyone.
Hey my name is Jason and I am the Senior High Youth Minister here at Hope Community Church. I have been going to Hope for three years now, and this fall I will be starting my fourth year with Illuminate. I was born in Kansas, but raised in Stillwater, Minnesota where I graduated in 1998. During my sophomore year at the University of Minnesota I had an amazing experience with our Lord and Savior -- Jesus Christ. He saved me and He changed my entire life around. Since that time I have graduated from Prescott College with a BA in Religious Studies, from Bethel Seminary with a MATS, was married to my beautiful wife Ceallaigh, and am expecting a baby boy this June. I currently work with 80 crazy Kindergarten thru 3rd graders in a before and after school program for the St. Louis Park School District. The most unique thing about myself is that I have amazing knock-knock jokes that will literally make you fall over and die from laughter!

I'm Kurt McIntire and I hail from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I study civil engineering at the University of Minnesota. I also work part time at The Whole music club on campus as the resident sound guy. Hope CC has been my home for nearly two years, and I have been part of the Senior High Illuminate Ministry since February '07. My journey with Christ drew me to the senior high youth in hopes of building solid Christian relationships. Someday, God willing, I'd like to ride a bull, sky dive, and hunt a deer with only a spear.
Jesse Splan has been with the youth of Hope CC longer than anyone else. In fact, he has been at Hope CC longer than anyone else. Until he turns in his own bio, we will just be referring to him on this website as Grandpa Jesse, Old Man Jesse, or even Jesse Time.
Dan Jin is our newest Illuminate leader. We like Dan, but we think he needs to make a bio for this website. Because he is so new, we will not make fun of him.
