Hope House Counseling Ministry
Wouldn’t it be nice if life was simple?
Wouldn’t it be nice if we could just follow a “yellow brick road” that would lead us closer to God, giving us easy-to-follow steps to spiritual growth? Or, if the answers to all of our problems were clear-cut, and if our lives up to this point had prepared us perfectly for the challenges we face right now?
Well, at Hope we’re not so sure that would be nice. If the Christian life were that simple, then we would have no real need for each other. But we believe God has created us to need Him and to need one another. If we think we can walk this path alone, then we don’t yet have a full understanding of the Christian life.
Hope House is one way that we help people get connected into the types of relationships that God has created us for – relationships that help us to grow closer to Him and to each other.
Counseling and help when you are in need - If you are struggling with a specific issue, Hope House will connect you with a trained layperson from the church who will listen to you and seek after God’s wisdom with you for your situation.
So instead of offering a simple answer to your problems, Hope House offers a caring listener who will seek after God with you. And instead of offering a yellow brick road for you to follow, Hope House offers a friend who can walk alongside you as you navigate your way through the often hidden paths of real life.
